GSoC status report, visualization

Hi!

I almost managed to go to bed today without sending out a status report! I 
promise I won't do it again.

I now have a Xine plugin that gives me audio data, but then you get no sound 
out, which is kind of sub-optimal. But I've started on a mail to Flameeyes, 
whom I hope can help me out.

I've also started on support in the GStreamer backend. It seemed to be easy-
peasy, but it Just Doesn't Work™. GStreamer has a rather active community, 
though, so it'll probably be easier to get some help in that camp.

Still hoping for the VLC backend to arrive soon...

Oh, and I'll be travelling to Ecuador on thursday (maybe not get back online 
until saturday). So no GCDS for me either. :/
