can apply depends very much from input audio type and also on
the input audio quality. If the audio is prefectly mastered and encoded it's
almost no space to use an equalizer here without lowering global volume by
lowering
preamp. In contrast to this you can go higher with settings for poor mp3
files encoded at <=128kb with crappy source / encoders.

So should maybe let us wait for other people tests ???

Well I'm so sorry if I can't understand you correctly - because it's

I don't kow why it was disabled. It shouldn't happen - if you can reproduce
the situation I will try to fix it.
It stay disabled with a message that phonon dosen't support equalizer when
in fact phonon doesn't support it but this is not the case probably ?

Best regards

Well - I presume that by saying lowest slider you mean the 1st slider=
from the left - labeled as preamp ?? If so it's a additional gain
applied to all bands.
Turning it to max will certainly make a nois out of input signal. Well
yes - the equalizer works like this - if you will put too much gains
over a bands it'll cause clipping anyway.
I think the best thing what we can do at this moment is let the people
compare it with xmms / audacious / rhytmbox / exile / banshee / xine
and state their opinion.
Personally I don't think it's a good idea to limit the scale (orgin=
aly
+- 12dB) - it's up to user to decide whatever the setting will be.</blo=

=A0
Well - what can I say - this equalizer is based on well known xmms /=
audacious code. If you find that this equalizer bahve different then Audac=
