Monty's branch of MySQL that uses the Maria storage engine by default.
He told me he has scalped almost all of the core MySQL engineers from
Sun (before Oracle bought it) to his new project, and he has complete
creative control over it -- so if he wants them to get mysqle (mariae?)
working well for us, he can make it happen.
