Cool things :)

I think we need to figure out a better way to deal with the advanced
stuff anyways... it's pretty ugly (as we all know).  But this makes
sense for now.

Can I convince you to post these patches on crucible? It's all sorts
of fun for reviewing thingies.

Oh, and you should probably just run all your new code through astyle
before committing it (as you keep breaking the style :x)
