strange collection(scanner) behaviour

Ok, I got a testcase. It turns out that it's funny characters that
freaks amarok out. Just do $ mkdir `printf "\302\234"` anywhere in
your collection, and that's it -- the directory gets added as './'.

I am currently investigating why would it be so.
