Some off-topic news. Google has made a new linker, Gold, thats 5x as fast for C++ code. It's been committed to binutils. It will probably take a while for any of us to have it on our computers. Just something to look forward to. :) http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2008-03/msg00162.html Ian
