Sound Quality

I haven't been a good testing citizen lately, so I slapped myself and got
amarok2 compiled, but there is a huge problem I think.  The sound quality
sucks.  I don't know if it is a phonon issue or what.

I have phonon set to use the xine backend and the same sound card I use with
the xine engine in 1.4, and the sound is all muddy and full of distortion,
where in 1.4.9.1 it is crystal clear.  What's up with that?
