EeePC

Heya :)

I installed Neon on my new EeePC a few hours ago and gave it a try.
All in all it looks pretty decent, but of course there is room for improvement.
The thing that was most annoying was the last.fm config. No way I can
use that without resizing the dialog. And resizing isn't exactly a
nice thing with a touchpad.
Also pretty obvious was the _huge_ waste of space for the
play/pause/... buttons, slider and volume bar.
The tabs in the sidebar look pretty fugly :(
The cover manager starts too small but is ok when resized.
Some of the services insist on resizing the sidebar to about 1/3 of
the screen. Not really nice when I made it smaller just before switing
there to save space.
I was not able to add any applets to the context view. Amarok
immediately crashed or refused to add them. I had a backtrace but
deleted it. Meh! Will try to get a new one later.

But see for yourself. I took a screenshot of everything and uploaded
it at http://www.lydiapintscher.de/tmp/eeepc.tar.gz

All in all it is pretty good though. Most of the dialogs are usable
and so is Amarok as a whole.
Yay for KDE 4 and Amarok 2. World domination is near ;-)

Cheers
Lydia
