Call for testing: GNOME/KDE related power consumption tweaks

Yep. With enabled progress bar i have ~15% X cpu usage all over the time with 
open Amarok window. Doesnt happen for any other app I've used so far.
CPU usage of X drops to 0-1% (normal case i guess) with hidden m_slider or 
minimized Amarok.
