Also this bug:

is not an amarok bug as much as a phonon-qt7 bug, so not something  
that is going to be fixed in 2 days. i tried the phonon-gstreamer and  
phonon-vlc backends and both refuse to work, so we have no alternative  
options at the moment.. also seeing as amarok 2.0 is beta on os x, i  
don't consider this critical. i'm postponing.
