status messages in Amarok 2

Hi
I noticed today that the status message popup is not working correctly. It 
does not appear correctly, and seems really slow.  And we should probably 
give it (and the sidebar) a graphical overhaul at some point, because they 
look really out of place in Amarok 2 imo (we need mroe svgs:)
