I'm running it on a touchscreen laptop (Dell Latitude XT). I kill
plasma-desktop and run plasma-device. It's running using Kwin, although I use
that config option to turn off window borders on maximized windows built in to
Kwin, what was it....? Something like borderlessonmaximized=true Kwin is
definitely active (pardon the pun) though, and works in every other way (eg
dragging windows around, switching from window to window, resizing etc)
