Problem: When starting PMC directly with a file, the Welcome screen is shown instead of the correct view

We have a problem: When starting Plasma Mediacenter by opening an audio or 
video file, the file is played in the background of the start screen (with the 
media type selection) instead of the correct UI for the file type.
This bug was already reported a while ago ( 
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=320239 ), was fixed and it worked in 
Devel, but now on the stable image, the problem is back.
This makes playing videos directly by opening a file pretty much useless (no 
controls, media categories always overlaying the video), and that's especially 
problematic if we want users to download and play instructional videos from 
the website.
Do we use a version of PMC in PA4 that does not have the fix?
