vlc 2.1 will use the org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver api to inhibit screen
interruptions. Kaffeine should be using the Solid::PowerManagement API, so I'd
expect this to work. Is this still happening?

And, to repeat Thomas' question, are you talking about plasma active or the
desktop/netbook shell?
