shouldn't be necessary for basysKom Mer/MeeGo based Wetab/ExoPC images.
Those image are already affected by a
'printf "\x9d\x2a\x44\x7b" | dd of=${IMAGE} bs=1 count=4 seek=440 conv=notrunc'
 
But a useful hint for others.
