Black Systembar after Upgrading

Hello mates,

we have now in our Plasma Active Repository a KDE 4.8.x. If people having PA2 
with KDE 4.7.4 and using the Repo for Upgrading, then they have a black 
systembar.
The solution now was to remove $HOME/.kde4/share/config/plasma-device*. But 
has anyone found a better solution? Anything what we can deliver through the 
Repository? Or is the plan, to wait for PA3 and don't support a Upgrade?
