It works if you change the layout in kwinrc to window_strip. Nevertheless, if
you have the task switcher and tap outside of it, the thumbnails are shown some
seconds after the task swticher is hidden. Furthermore, the first boot after
changing the setting I had an entry for plasma-device in the task switcher.
Tested on 2012-01-16-09-16-basyskom-plasma-active-devel-meego-usb-live.iso
