[Bug 310816] It is not possible to switch to most Activities

After I updated my system and deleted my .kde folder, the following happened:

After the reboot, the Introduction Activity was open, but the Activity Switcher
only showed Activities named "Main". 
Then kactivitymanagerd crashed (sadly no useful backtrace and debug packages
could not be found by DrKonqi) and now I'm in an empty, background-less
Activity called "New Activity", and the Switcher only shows one Activity called
"Main".

In other words, things are completely broken right now in Activity-Land
