Default sound settings on meego

Hi all,

the speaker on our meego device platform are muted by default.
At the moment 'systemsettings' contains no 'Multimedia' options.
To make them unmuted we have to call the script "alsaunmute" or
use 'alsamixer' from  'alsa-utils' package. I plan to customize
the 'bangarang.desktop' file with 'Exec=alsaunmute; bangarang %U'
to get sound running out off the box. Does anyone see a cleaner
solution for this without 'Multimedia' options?
