this will be the case for any number of things in Active that aren't found
elsewhere.
as another data point: the Android phone we have in the house has this same
feature and there is _no_ indication that it can be dragged down.
imho, there is no way around some basic before-you-use-it-first education. it
should only take 30s, but it's required.
otherwise we end up putting visual noise everywhere that only serves you for
the first 30 seconds of usage. we can't make everything discoverable without
also making it cluttered and in many cases simply harder to use as a result.
imho, this is trade off we will face in many places. it's the bane of doing
anything new or different. which is a good argument for ensuring that what we
do differently, we have good reasons for :)
