more a general thing.
also because i tried a bit more over the top thing there (like, killing all 
transparencies, that i really hate) that will probably have to be backtracked 
a lot ;)

also, for some of the changes, like the different color/shading of the 
buttons, are quite different from the desktop theme, but could be worth 
propagating them in the desktop one as well, just to refresh things a bit 
without changing too much
