I can take care of the release management side of things.

The installation instructions shouldn't change a lot.

AFAIK, there won't be any pop up telling you that there's an upgrade. 
Nevertheless, we can test a PA 1 to PA 2 upgrade and see how it goes. If 
it works fine, we could tell users how to do it in the announcement.
