yes,

* a master that now is frozen, 
* branch with everything needed merged, continuously
* feature branches that contain one and only one new feature


with the new workflow master would become something always ready to be 
released, so never frozen but features merged only when in a stable enough 
state, so a dumpster branch "i need to test everything now" could still be 
needed
