Here PA1 displayed networkmanagement icon properly.

Confirm glitchy graphics on dropdown, but this is probably not related to the
icon. Click the icon...characters are overwritten...click to disappear and
click again...characters are correct.

/usr/share/kde4/apps/networkmanagement/networkmanagement.notifyrc
In addition to translations, contains IconName=networkmanager
not "network"

ExoPC
openSUSE 12.1, with PA installed according to
community.kde.org/Plasma/Active/Installation
