            Bug ID: 309431
          Severity: normal
           Version: unspecified
          Priority: NOR
          Assignee: webkit-devel at kde.org
Summary: Overlap between pages when paging down is too much
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux
          Reporter: bugs at wormhole.me.uk
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
         Component: general
           Product: kwebkitpart

When paging down in Konqueror and Rekonq, about five lines of the previous page
are shown on the following page. In Konquerer with KHTML, only about one line
overlaps. I think five lines are too much, and are a distraction; I much prefer
to use KHTML for this reason.

Of course, the number of lines varies with the font size and screen resolution,
but it's not too far wrong to talk about 5 and 1 generally.

Could the overlap be reduced or made configurable?

Interestingly, Chrome on Kubuntu and Windows has an overlap of five lines, but
on OSX has an overlap of one line. This is with exactly the same versions of
Chrome and WebKit. Safari on OSX also has an overlap of one line.
