SUMMARY

When entering in the Desktop, after a computer standby, the brightness is
automatically set to a lower value. I use a value of 75% on my Dell U2417H, but
when I enter in the Desktop after a standby, the brightess is at 23%.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Check the brightness value of your monitor and leave the computer inactive
to make it enter in standby.
2. After the computer has entered in standby mode, start using your computer.
3. The brightness value is lowered to 23%.

OBSERVED RESULT
The brightness value get changed without any user interaction. User must
manually set the brightness  to previous value.

EXPECTED RESULT

Expect the brightness not to be reduced, when computer enter standby, given the
fact that monitor goes blank as well.
