Wallpaper or desktop glitch following interaction with context menu

SUMMARY

Arch linux, Wayland. AMD gpu.
It's a minor issue but it's been happening to me for over a year.
Sometimes, when I switch between apps or interact with a context menu, the
desktop and wallpaper "resize" and think the monitor is 1080p (only on the main
monitor)...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open context menu of an application in system tray (for example Steam or
Discord)
2. Immediately click outside of context menu, on wallpaper for example

OBSERVED RESULT
Suddenly desktop / wallpaper is resized to 1920x1080 and goes to the upper left
corner

EXPECTED RESULT
Wallpaper and desktop should always use the whole screen.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Archlinux, Wayland, kernel 6.5.6-arch2-1
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.11

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If I right click on the wallpaper in the corner, I get a context menu, but
right click on the background anywhere else does nothing.
I can still use the whole screen, but some apps will only use that upper left
corner where the wallpaper is.
To correct I just change resolution and click revert to go back, and everything
is fine again until the next time. Happens a few times a day. I can reproduce
it but not at will.
