            Bug ID: 477631
Summary: Digikam Version 8.1 cannot decode Nikon Z9 NEF files
in both Ubuntu 22.04 LTS using AppImage install and
                    Windows 10 EXE install

SUMMARY
***
Digikam Version 8.1 Stable build in both Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (AppIMage install)
and Windows 10 (EXE install) could not render the NEF file using "Image
Editor". In Windows 10 with EXE installation, "Image Editor' states the error
message "Cannot load "D:/DigikamToProcess/Nikon_Z9/NEF/_DSC0126.NEF". In Ubuntu
22.04 LTS with Digikam APPIMAGE installation, "ImageEditor" is also showing the
error "Cannot decode RAW image '_DSC0126.NEF'".
***

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Digikam 8.1 in Windows 10 and import a NIKON Z9 NEF, edit the NEF
file using "Image Editor". Please see image file
    "Untitled_00004_ImageEditor_NEF_UnableToLoad.png". During the second
Install Process, Installation Windows stated
Digikam 7.9 when I am installing Digikam 8.1? I totally uninstalled the
first original 8.1 install in Windows 10 to ensure it is
100% clean and the uninstall process stated "Deleted Digikam 7.9 files,
please see image "Digikam_UnInstall_00017.png".
So what is Digikam 7.9 doing with Digikam 8.1?
2. Install Digikam 8.1 in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS using APPIMAGE Installation and
import a NIKON Z9 NEF, edit the NEF file using
"Image Editor". Please see image file
"DigiKam_8.1_Bug_Cannot_Decode_NEF_File-In_ImageEditor.png".
3. The bug happens in both Windows 10 (EXE Install) and Linux Ubuntu 22.04
(using APPIMAGE install). In my last Bug reported
477467, Maik Qualmann tested it in Version 8.2 when I am using Version 8.1
Stable release and is reported in bug 477467.
     Please see image
"DigiKam_8.1_Bug_Cannot_Open_NEF_File-In_ImageEditor_Tested_Digikam_8.2_NOT_8.1.png".

OBSERVED RESULT
Both Windows 10 and Linux version of Digikam 8.1 could not decode a Nikon Z9
NEF file with the latest Version 4.1 Firmware update.

EXPECTED RESULT
I cannot put adjustments to the Nikon Z9 NEF files as Digikam 8.1 (Windows 10
and Ubuntu Appimage Install) is not working as per specifications.
