In step 2, you're entering the password of the LUKS disk and not your sudo/root
password, right?

After step 3, are you saying that you see a dialog window asking you to enter
the password for the LUKS disk, and the password is already filled in, but you
have ti press the enter key to make it go away?

At what point did you have to enter the sudo/root password?
