Trying to dig into the logs... this is what appears on every notification,
pretty much regardless of if they fail to expire or not :

5 Jan 2023 14:49:58     plasmashell     org.kde.plasma.notifications: Trying to
replace notification with id 1735 which doesn't exist, creating a new one. This
is an application bug!
