            Bug ID: 473162
Summary: Shift+Del: remove "cut" from predefined options to
                    avoid conflict
    Classification: I don't know
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: amanita+KDEBUGS at mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I have no idea who uses "shift+del" for "cut", as its simply "delete
completely".

Please remove the default assignment for "cut" as currently you always have to
go to "Settings-Keyboard shortcuts", search for "del" and remove it from
"file->cut".

I think this is pretty basic and annoying.
