SUMMARY

Hard to be certain exactly when this happened, but in the last few weeks I've
had a weird problem where windows will suddenly go transparent and stay that
way. If you try to close the window it essentially crashes leaving itself
rendered into the background of the desktop until a restart. This has happened
to chrome, firefox, and konsole windows at least.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open windows, use desktop for a while, can be minutes, or hours
2. Randomly a window suddenly stays transparent, but otherwise is useable
3. If you close the window its no longer working but is left in the background
on the desktop in its transparent state until a restart

OBSERVED RESULT

Once a window has gone transparent in this odd way, the best you can do is
close the window at which point its left hanging on the desktop until a
restart. It cannot be interacted with any more at this point.

EXPECTED RESULT

Windows don't stay randomly transparent and soft crash into the background.
