I think this is a very good idea from a security and privacy
perspective--especially given the Privacy goal.

I'm imagining that it could be implemented as a small system tray applet that
appears when there are any SSH, SFTP, FISH, SMB, VNC, etc connections to the
machine, and it could show where the connection came from and provide a button
to terminate it. It would be similar to how we show a tray indicator when
something is using the microphone.
