This is a great idea, but it's a huge undertaking. Not only is the client-side
work enormous, but there would have to be a server-side component too. Storing
data on a 3rd-party server is another big deal, and it costs money and
introduces GDPR risks today. If it were a peer-to-peer infrastructure, it would
be less useful since it would only work on your LAN or something.

If anyone wants to start work on this, that would be fantastic. But it's the
kind of huge project that's a bit out of scope for the bug tracker, sorry. :)
