You can try to find fcitx-frontend-qt5 in Discover. If you can find it and it
installs successfully, then you should be able to use fcitx in KDE/ Qt
applications. 
However, if you can find the package but it fails to install (due to dependency
problem), then you may have to build the package yourself (refer to the forum
post link I posted above).
