yes, there is  A left handed mouse using plasma settings does react completely
different in gimp!!
Gimp does not like button remappings (i assume), so a right handed mouse works
ok, a left handed not. And, same applies to an external touchpad/drawing pad
(wacom) which uses left handed settings of the mouse somehow. Same problem....
libinput to the rescue ;-)
