            Bug ID: 368738
Summary: [kde5] [settings] Mouse pointer acceleration doesn't
work for trackpoint, and there is no obvious
                    alternative setting
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: jonas at thiem.email

The mouse pointer acceleration doesn't work for my trackpoint on a Thinkpad
Yoga 260 laptop. However, there is no obvious alternative setting which would
allow me to adjust the trackpoint speed. Therefore either there should be a
"Trackpoint" entry, or the mouse device settings should successfully work on
the trackpoint as well.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open system settings
2. Open "Input Devices" -> "Mouse"
3. Click tab "Advanced"
4. Change Pointer acceleration and click "Apply"

Actual Results:
Even when going from 1.0 to 20.0, there is no noticeable difference in pointer
speed

Expected Results:
Pointer speed adjustment works
