            Bug ID: 364917
Summary: 2. Monitor synchronization of first user fails; second
                    user is okay
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: peterm.eller at yahoo.de

After booting, second monitor is recognized and correctly synchronized.
1. monitor: 1400 x 1050px
2. monitor: 1920 x 1200px
After entering user password and pressing ENTER synchronization of 2. monitor
fails and main notebook monitor is not available anymore.
-----
Booting with a second account shows no problems.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot system
2. choose main (first) user
3. enter password
4. press enter key

Actual Results:
synchronization of any external monitor fails (I have a second one which fails,
too)

Expected Results:
synchronization of external monitor should not fail

This problem existed some months ago and disappeared then.
Automatic login (without entering password) helped some time but not anymore.
