I'm sorry about your experience, but this problem is only because Kubuntu (as
the only distribution nowadays) still don't use BlueZ 5.
BlueZ 4 support in KDE is really old, buggy and not maintained for a long time.
When you update to BlueZ 5, I believe you will be pleased with state of
Bluetooth support.
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to help you. And please don't blame us
for this issue, it's really not our fault.
