This should work fine.

Are you sure you really use Plasma5's configuration tool, systemsettings5
("Configure Desktop" below "Settings" in the application menu )?

The KDE4 settings (systemsettings, "Configure KDE4 Applications") do not apply
to Plasma5.
You might have an old entry in the "Favorites".
