the icon for thunderbird, firefox, putty and a few other apps show as blank
icons in the kde menu.  When the application is running, it shows the icon in
the top left corner of the application, but still not in the menu.  Also, when
selecting the checkbox to 'Show a launcher when not running', the icon on the
taskbar shows as a blank white dogeared page... not the normal icon. I tried to
change the icon in the menu editor to any icon, and none of the ones I selected
will stay.  Caching issue?, how to solve?
