Same problem with Fedora 22 and kde5 plasma 5: see this bug on fedora's
bugzilla : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1208229

I have same result like attachment "kcmshell5 fontinst, messed up preview pane"

For info :
--this bug is present with nvidia's drivers

--it's present with nouveau drivers, but if I uninstall  xorg-x11-drv-nouveau,
preview for fonts in system-settings work.
