            Bug ID: 345315
           Summary: Hang on invalid Autostart-Programs
           Product: kde
           Version: 4.14.1
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: alexander_schier at yahoo.de

When the Autostart folder contains textfiles (or not executable shellscripts),
KDE starts a bit slower, then plasma hangs and no KDE/Gnome programs (and no
firefox/thunderbird) start anymore. I could only run programs, because i had a
non-KDE terminal in autostart.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a shellscript in ~/.kde/Autorun
2. try to disable it with chmod -x
3. start KDE

Actual Results:
- KDE starts (maybe a bit more slowly)
- Desktop loads, cursor gets a blinking kate icon
- The Panel hangs, all plasmoids on the desktop are hanging, the systray-icons
of non-KDE programs are working
- Programs like firefox/thunderbird/KDE-programs/Gnome-programs hang without
showing a window.
- Programs with other xlibs work (i.e. urxvt works just fine)
- KWin runs with all features as well

Expected Results:
- Files are ignored or maybe opened in a texteditor

I suspect some race condition about stuff like dbus starting after the
autostart programs but having to be started before kate.
