            Bug ID: 344565
Summary: Software Management says system up to date when it is
                    not
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: mplmpl at gmail.com

Software Management says "Your system is up to date Verified 4 hours and 10
minutes ago" and in fact *never* says anything needs updating, but yum command
line says many packages need updating. This has been going on since upgrade
(via fedup) from Fedora 19 to Fedora 21 (Software Management agreed with yum in
Fedora 19).

Looking at settings (don't know if this is normal since I didn't have to touch
settings up until this point), "Software Origins" is empty, and "Check for
distribution upgrades" is grayed out. In both screens, selecting "Defaults"
doesn't change anything.

Not sure if the configuration was messed up by the upgrade, but there appears
no way to fix the behavior regardless.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on Software Updater
2. run yum update
3. Note discrepancies

Actual Results:
Software updater says system is up to date, yum says it is not.

Expected Results:
I expected Software Updater to notify me of and to perform updates
