Hi,
I can't reproduce your bug on Opensuse 13.2 with Plasma 5.2.0.
I selected konqueror, applied this configuration and then rebooted, and
konqueror was still selected as the default web application.
I used a cleaned virtual machine to test it.
So maybe your configuration is different.
Can you give more details about your OS ?
Can you confirm that this bug is still reproductible on a clean and fresh kde
session ?
If the bug is linked to your config files, can you provide them ?
