            Bug ID: 343919
Summary: Error while starting kde4: "Call to lnusertemp failed
                    (temporary directories full?). Check your
                    installation"
           Product: kde
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: yuri at tsoft.com

I am getting this error on vanilla Arch kde4 install sight after 'startx',
during the kde4 splash, see attached screenshot.

Googling the error finds tons of references dating from 2009 to now, suggesting
checking permissions, disk full conditions, etc, etc.

The problem with this message: it doesn't say what error did it encounter. None
of the disks are at 100% capacity, and all permissions look right (/tmp,
/var/tmp, /home/<user>).

This error message should say which system call failed, and what was the error
code for that failure.

Reproducible: Always
