            Bug ID: 340378
Summary: systemsettings crashed when trying to reopen software
                    updater
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at kde.org
          Reporter: cure1245 at gmail.com

Application: systemsettings (4.11.12)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.1
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.16-2-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux testing (jessie)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I selected the software managment applet, ran an upgrade check, started the
upgrade process, closed out of systemsettings completely, reopened
systemsettings>"Software Managment">Updates. After loading for quite some time,
systemsettings crashed.

My guess is that apt was still running in the background and the updater didn't
know how to handle that.

-- Backtrace:
Application: System Settings (systemsettings), signal: Segmentation fault
