Can you guys please fix this 5-year-old bug?.. It makes KDE completely unusable
with my new monitor I bought..
EVERY time I turn the monitor off, and then back on the mouse cursor disappears
for ever.....It isn't even invisible, it just isn't there at all..

The monitor is hooked up to a laptop..
Also, for some reason, on the password screen, the keyboard doesn't work either
(after the mouse disappears)!......

I literally can not use KDE until this bug is fixed, or until some one tells me
a work-around! Unless I want to keep my monitor on 24 hours with out ever
turning it off, even when I sleep.....which would be a ridiculous waste of
power and wear on the monitor..

I can help as much as I can by giving any one any information they need from my
system..
I really can't use KDE any more until this bug is fixed!.. But gnome and others
suck.. ;(
