Since the latest dist-upgrade KDE will not start. This is the case whether I
start it from KDM or X2Go. It steps through the splash-screen steps but stays
on the finak K for 10 minutes or so, and finally reverts to a black screen with
(operational cursor.
<alt><f2> has no effect, and <alt><shift><f12> only flips back and forth
between the splash screen and black page.
