Yes, the information is there when you know where to look. I didn't know all
this stuff till just a few hours ago. I also didn't know how CIFS was behaving
untill you pointed it out with a wireshark trace.

I really like to thank you for your trace and further investigation after my
last reply. This - while knowing the solution - makes it worth diving into
kio_smb and fixing it. I don't have a lot of time for doing that in the coming
weeks so i would welcome anyone willing to pick it up.

Otherwise i will put it on my list of things to do at the frameworks sprint
(end of april 2014).
